Meeting Rooms

The Abbey Guesthouse has several meeting rooms which groups may use for prayer, discussion, lecture, and reflection.

Large Conference Room (Saint Benedict Room)

Occupancy: 25 people

The Benedict Room is a multi-purpose room. The room is equipped with four rectangular tables, allowing multiple room configurations. Tables may be removed for discussion and prayer circles. The room is AV equipped with PC-compatible projection equipment. Zoom and phone conferencing capable. Dry erase board and easels are available.

Lakeside Conference Room (Saint Scholastica Room)

Occupancy: 16 people

The Scholastica Room, with its floor to ceiling windows, overlooks Lake Sagatagan. The room has one long table. The brightness of the room does not allow for projection equipment. Dry erase board and easels are available.

Library (Saint Gregory Room)

The Library has 8 comfortably upholstered chairs arranged in a square for small group discussion. Some additional chairs may be added, but generally 12 is the maximum for this space. The room does not allow for projection equipment. Easels are available.

Transfiguration Chapel

The Chapel has 12 comfortably upholstered chairs. They may be arranged as needed, in rows or in a circle. Additional chairs may be added to increase the occupancy to about 20.

We limit the use of the Chapel to groups who meet for brief periods during the course of a day. This allows access to all who share the Guesthouse.

Abbey Chapter House

Occupancy: 80-120 people

The Abbey Chapter House is a multi-purpose room. Still in use by the monastic community for their business meetings, the room contains 80 comfortably upholstered chairs. Additional chairs are available for larger groups. A podium with controls for computer and DVD projection provides speakers with multiple teaching options. Portable microphones allow dynamic discussions that may be heard by all. Round and rectangular tables are available for small group discussion. Easels are available.
